Hands on learning and critical thinking happening in 4th grade math classrooms. Students are diving into unit fractions and exploring with manipulatives as they learn by doing.






There is a semi truck broken down on Estlle. County Sheriff will ve diverting all traffic through Honeysuckle. Please come around and the Marshal will guide you through traffic flow for dismissal.

Red Ribbon Week for Thursday, October 31
Theme: “Life is ‘BOO’tiful When You Live Drug Free!”
Outfit: Wear a Halloween shirt or Halloween colors (no costumes, please).
Activity: We will conclude our Red Ribbon Week celebration with our Talent Show! Since we know that in order to master a talent or skill, you need a healthy, drug-free mind and body, we can't think of a better way to end the week than to see how our students perform their special talents and skills at their highest level.

We loved starting Red Ribbon Week of wiyh rolling out the Res Carpet. Thank you to Superintendent Kordel and Mr. Bobo for being our gueat judges.










Ms. Patel's Kindergarten class engaged in a mini lesson on how readers use think marks to show what rhey are thinking as they read. Today they learned how to sticky note their favorite part of a story with a heart and later will share with their partner their favorite part and why. Students were reading from their books boxes independently while Ms. Patel worked with a small group before they partner read










First grade diving into math resources during CLT to support the planning cycle, unit planning guides, and to continue to build their toolbox with best instructional strategies to support our student growth goals.

Theme: “Live Life in the ‘Spot’light Drug Free!”
Outfit: Wear leopard print, Lovejoy school colors, or school spirit wear.

Theme: “Roll out the Red Carpet for being Drug Free!”
Outfit: Wear your best “red carpet outfit.” We will have special guest judges and prizes will be awarded for best dressed boy and girl in each grade level!
Activity: Students will be given a Drug Free pencil and complete their own personal drug free pledge poster.

Help us celebrate our Veterans. If you have a veteran or member of your family actively serving, we would love to honor them for our Veteran's Day display. Please see poster for details.

3rd grade students are engaged in transforming their creatures from a 2D form to 3D form using clay and the method of slip and score, before they go into the kiln. This project incorporated art standards, geometry, and writing. We cannot wait to see the finished products.








Ms. Balmer's second graders were excited to learn during their Readers workshop block. It was great watching them learn during Shared Reading, Phonics, and the Mini Lesson before they transitioned to independent reading.




Ms. Hertweck's class engaged in their book boxes.



We cannot wait to welcome back our students and staff from Fall Break. Don't forget tomorrow is "Warming Up for the 2nd Quarter." Students and staff are encouraged to come ready to start the week in warm-up gear, pajamas, and/ or hats. See you in the morning.
