Today they learned how to sticky note their favorite part of a story with a heart and later will share with their partner their favorite part and why. 3rd grade students are engaged in transforming their creatures from a 2D form to 3D form using clay and the method of slip and score, before they go into the kiln. This project incorporated art standards, geometry, and writing. We cannot wait to see the finished products.
