Hart staff and students kicked off the week PJ style.
Hart and Puster Elementary did such a great job tonight at the Fine Arts Festival showcasing their holiday musical performances, both separate and together, under the direction of Ms. McKinley and Ms. Hebert.
4th grade students are applying their writing skills to respond to what they know in science about solutions and mixtures. Kindergarten students earned building a reading city before they immersed themselves in their book boxes.
Thank you PTO for providing our students the opportunity to purchase gifts for their family through the Penguin Patch Store.
This morning our Kindergarten team started their morning analyzing student writing samples to calibrate on the writing progression they are seeing in our Kindergarten writers to help plan next steps to continue to differentiate their instruction with each student through conferring.

Our 3rd grade students did an amazing job representing our Hart values today as they enjoyed their experience at the Allen Philharmonic with some social time at Celebration Park. We are so proud of our students and appreciate the staff and parents who attended today.

In 3rd grade, students are responding to both physical text and digital text, while a small group is reading to learn to determine main idea.
Kindergarten is independently reading and building their stamina as readers.
Walking through Kindergarten as students are using their think marks as they read.
Visiting 4th graders who are engaged in writing about reading using historical fiction text to identify the rising actions, while teachers are working in small group instruction and conferring with students.
First graders are readers and can share their job as a reader. Love having the opportunity to have the voice over coaching with our MTSS coach on our learning walks.
