Message From Our Principal

Willow Springs Middle School is a campus that serves students in 7th and 8th grade. With a total enrollment of approximately 750 students in two grades, WSMS has a a small school feel with big school options. Our core classes of math, science, social studies and reading are all taught at the Pre AP level and we are committed to being a high school preparatory campus. This is done through vertical alignment between the skills and concepts of Advanced Placement courses at the high school level and the college prep curriculum outlined in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Our goal is to support students through their growth and development of adolescence while establishing independence and responsibility that will set them up for success in high school. Our 7th grade program is designed to transition students into middle school with intervention and support. This is done through data, communication, and collaboration. As they move into 8th grade, our goal is to move more learning responsibilities to students by encouraging reflection and self-evaluation.
