Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Larry McRae as the new Assistant Principal of Willow Springs Middle School.

Mr. McRae brings 26 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, assistant coach, head coach, and offensive coordinator. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for fostering strong relationships, supporting student growth, and creating positive school cultures.

Mr. McRae and his wife, Jamie, have been married for 23 years. Jamie is a school counselor at Allen High School. Their son, Jacob, is a scholarship football player at Louisiana Tech University studying Business, and their daughter, Landry, is a two-year varsity volleyball letterman at Allen High School who aspires to become a professional airline pilot.

As Assistant Principal, Mr. McRae will focus on supporting students, partnering with families, and helping create an environment where all learners can thrive. His leadership is rooted in service, collaboration, and a commitment to student success.
