Registration for the 25-26 school year opens on February 3rd.
Who is eligible to participate in Lovejoy ISD's Early Learning Program?
LCDC serves students from 18 months to 3 years old. Students will be enrolled based on the age of the child on September 1st.
What are the hours of operation?
Hours are from 7:00am - 6:00pm. In the Prek 3 class, we offer a school day option that runs from 7:40am-3:15pm. Our Early Learning Program begins on the first day of school according to the Lovejoy ISD student calendar and runs through the last day of school.
What is the tuition for participating in the LCDC Early Learning Program?
For your convenience, you have the option of either paying the annual tuition in full or paying on the installment plan. On the installment plan, we have divided the annual tuition into 10 equal monthly payments to be paid out over the LCDC School Year. LISD staff will have a separate tuition breakdown as a benefit of working for the school district.

How do I register if I live WITHIN the Lovejoy ISD attendance zone?
To reserve your spot in the program, please complete the steps outlined below. There are 2 separate processes: one for in district families and one for out of district families. Please ensure you follow the process that applies to your family.
1. Complete the In District Registration Packet. You may complete the packet digitally and email it to Cindy Daniels Dixon at cindy_daniels@lovejoyisd.net or print and bring a hard copy to the Lovejoy Child Development Center office.
You will also need to provide the following documents along with your registration packet:
Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy of Social Security Card
Parent/Guardian’s Driver’s License
Physician's Release Form completed by your child’s physician (Form can be found in the registration packet.)
Updated and current immunization record or valid state exemption
Proof of Residence
2. Pay a $350 nonrefundable registration fee.
This fee is waived for LISD employees.
You may pay this electronically by using the link below or provide a check to the Lovejoy Child Development Center office. Please make checks out to Lovejoy ISD.
How do I register if I live OUTSIDE of the Lovejoy ISD attendance zone?
To reserve your spot in the program, please complete the steps outlined below. There are 2 separate processes: one for in district families and one for out of district families. Please ensure you follow the process that applies to your family.
For students who live outside of the Lovejoy ISD attendance zone, you may apply to participate in the Early Learning Program during the out of district windows. LCDC does not accept applications outside of the windows for out of district students. Please refer to our LCDC Out of District Guidelines for additional information.
25-26 Out of District Window #1: February 3-28, 2025 (Parents will be notified on or before March 7, 2025, of their child’s status in the program.)
25-26 Out of District Window #2: March 24-April 18, 2025 (Parents will be notified on or before April 25, 2025, of their child’s status in the program.)
