A native of Michigan, I received my undergraduate degree from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York and Masters of Educational Administration from UNT. I began teaching 8th grade mathematics and 7th grade science in 1993 in Temple, TX and taught middle school math for 20 years, with the exception of one year of high school. I came to Lovejoy in 2008 to teach 8th grade mathematics and in 2012 became an assistant principal at Sloan Creek Middle School. I stayed with the middle school as we moved to Willow Springs. I love the enthusiasm, the laughter, the energy and the whimsicality of middle schoolers.
I have three children: Danielle is entering the Master's program at OU, Benji is a Junior at Texas A&M, and Sammy will join his sister, as a Freshman, at OU.
I am blessed to be a part of such an amazing campus and community. I can't wait to embark on another amazing year!
