A Little about Me!
I am thrilled to be a Lovejoy Leopard! I started working in education in 2003 and became a Lovejoy Leopard in 2006. I love being a part of this amazing community.
I grew up right down the road in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School in 1996. (That was when McKinney was still small enough to have only one high school). After graduation, I moved to San Marcos, TX where attended Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University). I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, later going back to earn my teaching certificate. When I am teaching, I feel that I am right where I am supposed to be! No other job has given me the joy that teaching children brings.
“Every Student. Every Chance. Every Day.”
This is what you will find as the motto and philosophy in my classroom. I treasure each day with my students and want to make sure they know how important they are as a person and as my student. I enjoy making a connection with the students and their parents. Children achieve best when they are comfortable in their environment. I am looking forward to an amazing year!
When I am not teaching, you will find me enjoying time with my family. We love being outdoors and love taking adventures!
Here is our 7th Grade Advanced Math Calendar for this year. It can and will change as we adjust to meet our students' needs!
