About Me

Hi WSMS students and families! I am so excited to be starting my first year teaching with all of you. Last year I served as a permanent guest educator at Willow Springs, so I am looking forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces. This year I will be teaching 8th grade science along with 7th and 8th grade cheer.

I was born and raised in Garland, TX and spent most of my childhood dancing and being a solo, unofficial cheerleader for my two older brothers’ soccer games. During high school I was on my school’s drill team and developed my love for science. I attended the University of North Texas where I earned my degree in biology, minor in chemistry, and teaching certification.

Before joining the Lovejoy family, I was the site director for an after school program in Frisco ISD and worked at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. I am looking forward to watching our students grow over the next year and hope to help them find their passion for science, cheer, or anything their interests lead them to.
